Back in 2013, when IG was still a new-ish thing, I created a project called Real Life Instagram, where I would stick real frames with colored filters and location tags around several cities. Frames were hung in Manchester, London, Tokyo, São Paulo, Frankfurt, Lausanne, and Lisbon over a four-year period.
The project was picked up by several media outlets and print newspapers, including BuzzFeed, Fast Company, Refinery 29, LA Times, Design Milk, Gizmodo, UOL, Terra, O Globo, Adweek, and many others, and I was invited to participate in two art exhibitions: Hamster Hipster Handy Festival in Frankfurt, Germany; and Festival du Cité in Lausanne, Switzerland.
